Types of Hand Zardozi Work:

1. Dabka Work

   • Coiled spring-type metal wire sewn onto the fabric.

   • Very detailed, creates a raised, 3D effect.

2. Katori Work

   • Use of small metal sequins (katoris) to add shine.

   • Often used in floral or circular patterns.

3. Nakshi Work

   • Flat, twisted metallic wire used for detailed outlining.

   • Gives a sharp and precise finish.

4. Tikki Work

   • Flat sequins attached with threads.

   • Adds shimmer; often combined with beadwork.

5. Salma Work

   • Flat metallic wire embroidery.

   • Typically used for borders and motifs.

6. Sitara Work

   • Use of stars or tiny shiny sequins.

   • Very sparkly, used to accentuate larger designs.

7. Kasab Work

   • Embroidery using zari thread only.

   • Creates flat or slightly raised patterns.

8. Beadwork / Moti Work

   • Decorative beads or pearls hand-stitched for texture and richness.

9. Cutdana Work

   • Thin glass tubes or beads sewn in patterns.

   • Adds a twinkling effect, used in modern zardozi too.
